Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (Imaging Interest)

A well-established, modern small-animal veterinary practice in the Waltham Forest area is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive clinical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and making a real difference to pets and their families.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

- A minimum of three years’ experience in practice, including at least one year working within the UK

- A genuine interest in early diagnostics and high-quality clinical care

- A strong commitment to continuity of care and effective case management

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships

- A collaborative and supportive approach, working confidently with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues

 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering preventive care, diagnosing and managing a diverse caseload, and ensuring pets receive consistent and compassionate treatment.

A proactive approach to ongoing professional development is highly valued.

 

 

Working Hours & Flexibility

This practice recognises the importance of balance and sustainability in veterinary careers.

 

 

Typical full-time arrangements include:

- A four-day working week

- Consistent weekly day off

- Nine-hour shifts, including both consulting and surgical time

- A dedicated hour each day for administration and case follow-ups

- Weekend rota of approximately 1 in 4
