A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a network of established practices across Hertfordshire and North London, supporting multiple sites and a 24-hour hospital.
This role is ideal for a confident vet who enjoys variety, autonomy and working alongside experienced teams.

With elements of sole charge work, this position would suit a Veterinary Surgeon confident consulting independently, performing routine surgery and building strong client relationships.
Clinic Snapshot:
- Support across a successful network of practices across Hertfordshire & North London
- Experienced Branch Partners, Lead Vets and supportive clinical teams
- Access to 24-hour hospital facilities and referral support
- Digital radiography, ultrasound and in-house laboratory services
- Endoscopy facilities available within the region
- Clinical interests across Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiology
Clinical Focus:
- Deliver first-opinion consultations and surgical care
- Work confidently across different practice settings
- Manage varied caseloads with clinical autonomy
- Build relationships with clients and teams
- Develop skills through collaboration and specialist support
- Dedicated veterinary “Buddy” support available
Working Pattern:
- Permanent full-time position
- 4-day working week (36 hours)
- Flexible support across regional practices
- Approximately 2 Bank Holidays per year
- Approximately 2 weeks of on-call cover annually
- 1–2 additional rotational shifts per year

What they're looking for:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS)
- Minimum 3 years’ UK small animal experience
- Confident working independently and in sole charge
- Comfortable consulting and routine surgery
- Adaptable with strong communication skills
- Passionate about patient care and supporting colleagues
