An independent, family-run veterinary practice in Guildford is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join its established and supportive team.
Established for over 20 years, the practice has built a strong reputation within the local community and offers a personal approach to veterinary care, with genuine clinical freedom, continuity of care and a focus on doing what is best for each patient.
The role would suit a vet who enjoys first-opinion practice and wants to work within a close-knit team while having the opportunity to develop their own clinical interests.

Clinical Focus:
- Varied first-opinion small animal caseload
- Consultations and preventative healthcare
- Medical cases and emergency care
- Routine surgery and dentistry

- Existing expertise across internal medicine, ultrasonography, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, cardiology, emergency and critical care, dermatology and behaviour
- Strong focus on continuity of care and client relationships
Working Pattern:
- Monday–Friday: 8am–7pm practice opening hours
- Saturday mornings: 8am–12pm
- Saturday participation required
- No out-of-hours requirement
- Emergencies covered externally
- Exact rota and working pattern to be agreed
